Jillian Harris Hits NY Fashion Week Without Ed Swiderski

Bachelorette Jillian Harris was all smiles as she hit NYC's Fashion Week - but noticeably absent from her side was fiancé Ed Swiderski.

Instead, Mike Steinberg, the New York-based baseball camp owner whom Jillian eliminated in episode four accompanied Jill to the catwalk. And it's all Ed's idea.

"Ed was supposed to be here today, but then he couldn't book his flight," Harris, 30, told E! News. "Ed and he have been really good friends since the show. So Ed's like, 'You know what, why don't you have Steinberg sit in for me? That'll make some great news.'"

Despite Ed's absence, Jill insisted there were no trouble in reality paradise and she's moving to Chicago on Tuesday to be with her fairy tale fiance.

"I'm all packed up and ready to go," Jillian told E!

But she said wedding isn't the top priority on their minds.

"I think everybody witnessed that it could be so intense right after the show was over. We want to try to live a normal life and get to the point where we live together and start to come together and then start planning," she said.

Asked who should be the next star of The Bachelor, she said her third-place finisher, Reid Rosenthal, would make an ideal next Bachelor because he's "a solid package."
