Jon Gosselin "I despise Kate" VIDEO

In an interview with Good Morning America, Jon Gosselin lashes out at his estranged wife Kate claiming he was verbally abused during his marriage.

The Jon & Kate Plus 8 patriarch says he despises his ex wife Kate, and believes she took his wedding ring.

"I can't sit on a sofa with that woman. I can't sit on someone right now that I despise - I despise because she's not speaking from the heart," says Gosselin, who claims that he was "beaten down" by Kate during their marriage.

Jon tells GMA anchor Chris Cuomo that he is not sure his estranged wife Kate and her bodyguard, Steve Neild, haven't been having an affair behind his back.

"I speculate, but I don't know - that's a general feel," Jon said. "You know, almost like when they were traveling together, I felt jealous. Here I'm Mr. Mom. And then there's some other guy traveling with my wife."

Jon however, conveniently forgets about his other woman - multiple other women. As for his current relationship, he is still together with Hailey Glassman, whom he says he did not start dating until after he left Kate. He says, "I get encouragement from her, I get respect from her. Two things that a man needs. This is someone, I mean, like soul mate -- like people joke about that. But I'm not joking about that."
