Steve Mazan - Letterman wish comes true VIDEO

Steve Mazan, a dying comedian's dream became a reality when he performed on The Late Show with David Letterman last night.

Stand-up comedian Steve Mazan was diagnosed with inoperable liver cancer a few years ago. Knowing that he was dying, Mazan set out to achieve his life-long dream - perform comedy on the David Letterman show.

He began petitioning CBS and even started a website, - "DyingtoDoLetterman.com," showcasing his talent.

After more than four years of essentially auditioning for the show, Mazan's wish came true. On Friday night, he performed a five minute joke at the Ed Sullivan Theater.

He has performed for U.S. troops seven times in Iraq and Afghanistan and also appeared on Craig Ferguson's show twice.
