Michael Jackson to be Burried Today
Michael Jackson will finally be laid to rest today, almost two-and-a-half months after his tragic death. The private funeral will take place at Forest Lawn cemetery mausoleum in Glendale, CA. It is expected to start at 7pm and run for 45 minutes.
Michael will be laid to rest in the star-studded mausoleum, where other Hollywood legends including Clark Gable, Jean Harlow and W.C. Fields are buried. Michael's estate will bear the funeral costs.
Michael's long-time friends Diana Ross and Aretha Franklin are expected to attend. Aretha Franklin will reportedly sing as Michael is lowered into his grave. Fans and media have been banned from the service.
Jackson family has an after-party scheduled to begin right after Michael's funeral - a party they're calling a "Celebration of Life."
Rest in peace Michael.
