DJ AM aka Adam Goldstein Found Dead

DJ AM Dead

DJ AM whose real name is Adam Goldstein was found dead in his New York City apartment Friday afternoon.

His body was found around 6PM ET. The New York Post have reported that drug paraphernalia was found near the body.

Four days before his death, 36-year-old disc jockey Tweeted, "New york, new york. Big city of dreams, but everything in new york aint always what it seems."

As you may recall, Goldstein, along with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker miraculously survived a tragic plane crash in September 2008. Four other people, including the pilot, copilot and two passengers, died in the incident.

Goldstein was once engaged to Nicole Ritchie. He had an on-again, off-again relationship with singer Mandy Moore.

Within minutes of the news breaking, Barker's ex, Shanna Moakler, had tweeted: "My deepest condolences for DJ AM, you were a great artist and will be severely missed. My thoughts and Prayers to his family and friends."

I can't believe this happened, especially after the plane crash...damn....RIP DJ AM.

It was sad to hear, he was still  so young.  I pray that God comforts his family in their time of grief.
