Paula Abdul has just inked her first post-idol gig!

Abdul will be hosting VH1's Divas special, which will air on Sept. 17.

"Hi guys! im really excited 2 announce ill be hosting this year's "Vh1 Divas"! The show will be live on Sept 17th @ 9 pm EST," Paula Tweeted.

"This year's VH1 Divas show will honor Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Jordin Sparks, Leona Lewis and Miley Cyrus- I am so excited!!"

The VH1 Divas concert will be televised live from the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, New York. The special will air @ 9PM ET/PT on Thursday, September 17 on VH1.
