Kimberly Johnston - David Cook's New Girl?
American Idol David Cook has a special female fan he's been keeping under wraps.
According to PageSix, Cook, 26, is dating Kimberly Johnston, an Atlanta model who is almost a decade older than he is.
The lovebirds have been spotted "canoodling" at out-of-the-way places late at night after his concerts. She secretly met Cook at the bar of a London Hotel, according to sources. Last Friday, she drove from Atlanta to see him perform in Knoxville, Tenn., sources say.
Cook broke up with his singer girlfriend Kimberly Caldwell in December last year. They started their relationship shortly after Cook's Idol win in May 2008, with the rocker publicly asking Caldwell on a date on the red carpet before the seventh season finale.

DAvid can manage his love life on his own just fine. He doesn't need the fan base to manage it for him! And to the cougars who like to meddle in his life ... get your own life ... he has a mother already! Kim is beautiful David, just like the last Kim!

David is a grown man and has a right to have a private life without asking permission. If he wants us to know what is going on he will tell us and until then why not MYOB. If he is seeing anyone I hope they don't hurt him, that is my only concern.

I've known Kim Johnston for several years, she's warm hearted, beautiful, a great-nurse and all woman! David is lucky to have her in his life... leave them alone to figure out their relationship. If you are bothered by the age difference...you are jealous and have your own issues you should be paying attention too. Good luck to you David and to Kim--you know you are loved and cared for by your friends and co-workers.

anyone who has anything negative to say about Kim clearly doesn't know her..she is one of my dearest friends and has been for years..she is very smart and to describe her as "driven" is an understatement..she has a heart of gold and David should be grateful to know her on any level..stop hating on her because she is so beautiful...

I dont' think she is beautiful at all. She has funky eyebrows, and she looks 40. Im sure she is a good nurse, but she is too old for him.

David Cook is an artist & I like his music & his talent. His personal life is his business. No recording artist asks his/her fans for permission to date anyone & if people lose respect for David because of whom he might be dating--they have mental issues. They need to get a life. This is part of "celebrity" that really sucks. Everyone is in your face & criticizing what you do. You can't win.

Melissa must be Holly cause now she has her fake members on her stupid site quoting her posts. She does that a lot, quote her own comments from other sites. Things have been boring on her site with David getting a few days vacation in so she's trying to revive the Kim story to spice things up. So predictable.

Hah! I've seen that same identical comment by "Melissa" posted at several different sites. It sounds like something Holly would write. So stupid of her, trying to resurrect this story. The picture in Star looked photoshopped so who knows how much of the story was true but if there ever was actually anything between these two it's definitely over by now. You're right about the fake members. I can't believe she thinks she's fooling everyone. It's so obvious that she posts under many different names.

Wow! Yes I know miss Johnston. Everyone thinks she is good looking until you see her in person. Its a rude awakening. Underneath all the make up and airbrushing she is nothing but a home wrecking whore. She was hosting an event where my husband works and was emailing him inappropriate emails at first I thought it was just a sales pitch until she actually made a move on him. I guess she is just working her way up the ladder. Women beware.
