She is a hideous beast.  The probably airbrushed the picture like crazy and she is steal ugly.  She should change her name to the beast from the east.

I am amazed and disgusted by the mean spirited remarks.  I can only surmise that those making them are jealous and unhappy people.  I think she is beautiful.  I am happy that such good forture has come to her.

The people with the neg remarks, really have a problem.  I will be among the first in line to buy her CD.  I think this is an amazing story of the "ungly ducking turned into a swan."  I am delighted for her.

Susan Boyle is one of the most talented singers that I have heard in a long time..Why is it that people have  to comment on her looks. She is beautiful inside and out...and her talent is such a wonderful gift.  I for one think there are many movie stars that  have fantastic careers as well as singers and it is their talent and not their looks that have made them great ..and Susan Boyle is  Great also !!!

The comments about Susan Boyle's look are probably from rather shallow individuals. Seems to me that not everyone can get their picture in Harper's who's editors are experienced professionals who make important decisions for the magazine. They obviously know what they are doing. Susan Boyle has an incredible god-given talent that very few people can match. Instead of keeping it hidden, she put herself out there and shared it with everyone. And thank god for her boldness... shallow people tend to limit the talents of the truly talented just by their holier than thou attitudes.

If you cannot say something nice about a person keep you mouth shut this is for those with negative remarks, you just show how uneducated and insecure you really are.

Susan looks fantastic in her new image.  I especially love the photo where she is holding her cheeks with both hands.  She looks so cute and I love her hair.

I don't understand though, why people would come on this site and write nasty things about her.  She's a human being.

you go girl! beautiful pictures and what an absolutely amazing voice and such a sweet down to earth gentle spirited lady. i pray that all of her dreams come true and with the fame and fortune she will find good people to surround her so she doesn't change the person we all have fallen in love with.

I know you 2 people with the negative comments because I was once just like you. I was so pretty, a fashion model who looked down on people who weren't beautiful. My mother was a wonderful christian down to earth woman who was like Susan. She always said she was not pretty, but was so proud to have a beautiful daughter like me. I refused to take a photo with her following one of my fashion shows because I thought I was so much better. Well little did I know that in 6 months my "beautiful mother" would die of breast cancer. She always said "Never judge a book by it's cover." I hated myself for being so shallow. The only consolation I had was that those last six months of her life I took care of her, neglecting my stupid looks. She said she had always thought that I was so selfish and shallow, but wished now that she had 2 daughters like me. My point is "outer beauty fades", but inner beauty shines through and lasts for eternity; because what God placed inside of each of us is the "SOUL" of man (woman).Big Tink and Hotgirl my outer beauty has faded, but my inner beauty is what attracted the husband I thought I could only dream of. I met him at 49 and we were married when I was fifty (50) years old. I pray that the Lord heals the sadness inside of each of you like he did for me. May God Bless each of you. I love you both and understand what it feels like to be judged based upon how pretty you look and even sometimes used by people; because I was once you.

Susan Boyle comes across as singularly clear and true above the caterwauling sleaze-bags who plague our airwaves these days. Bravo Susan for bringing relief to the masses starved for the kind of sound that lasts through the ages.
