Paula Abdul Leaving American Idol
Oh no! Paula Abdul is officially leaving American Idol! Last night, Paula announced on her Twitter page that she won't be returning to the show.
With sadness in my heart, I've decided not to return to #IDOL. I'll miss nurturing all the new talent,but most of all being a part of a show that I helped from day1 become an international phenomenon.
Paula said in a posting on her Twitter account.
This news really makes me sad. I can't believe I care so much, but I do! The show just won't be the same without her.
Ryan Seacrest is as surprised as the rest of us by the news. "The news stunned me last night," he said Wednesday on his KISS FM radio show. "I was shocked."
And Fox just signed Kara DioGuardi - which I just don't get at all.

Paula leaving is a good thing so far as three idol judges is better than four, but they're going to lose a lot of that "fun factor" when she leaves...
