Bachelorette Finale : Jillian Harris Picks Ed Swiderski

On last night’s season finale of ABC reality show The Bachelorette, Jillian Harris accepted a marriage proposal from Ed Swiderski.

Jillian presented her final rose to the 29-year-old technology consultant from Chicago, IL after rejecting Kiptyn Locke, a 31-year-old business developer from Encinitas, CA and Reid Rosenthal who returned to the show (he was booted the week before) to profess his love and propose to Jillian.

Ed told Jillian, “You’re everything I could ever ask for in a woman… you make me smile when I look in your eyes.”

Ed pulled out a swanky Neil Lane engagement ring and said, “I want you to give me a hard time when we’re 80 years old,” before asking "Jillian, will you marry me?"

Jillian answered, "Absolutely."

"Ed is the person I'm meant to be with," Jillian, a 29-year-old interior designer from Vancouver, BC said moments before Ed proposed to her.
 

"I can see him in my life long-term -- forever, 50 years down the road.  We have that spark and that chemistry.  Our relationship is complete, we're ready to take the plunge.  It's everything that I was looking for I am 100% madly in love with Ed."

But, are Jillian and Ed still together? The couple will give an update on their relationship on tonight's "After the Final Rose".
