Alexis Cohen American Idol Contestant Found Dead

Alexis Cohen - a former American Idol contestant was found dead Saturday in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. The 25-year-old was apparently struck and killed by a car in what authorities are calling an apparent homicide. Cohen was found in the street by two pedestrians.


Cohen suffered chest, head and abdominal injuries. Further details about her death have not been released.


Alexis Cohen auditioned for American Idol Season 7 and 8, but failed to receive her golden ticket to Hollywood both times. After being rejected by the judges in 2008, she launched into an angry rant that became a popular viral video in the internet.

She showed up again during the most recent season of American Idol for another shot, but again failed to make it to the second round. Here are the audition videos.
