Solange Knowles shaved head

Solange Knowles, the younger sister of Beyonce showed off a serious summer hair do' in Los Angeles yesterday.
 

The 23-year-old completely shaved off her long locks for the low-maintenance look.


However, Solange did not debut her new hairstyle on the red carpet when she attended a Dita Von Tesse’s event last night. Instead, she sported a brunette wig for a more glamorous look.
 

Solange is not the only singer to get a good shave in the hot weather. Last week, Rihanna partially shaved her head for a cockatiel-esque high hair do. See pictures of Rihanna's new do' here.

I don't like the new look AT ALL!!!!!!!! Maybe she never had hair in the first place. People in hollywood have the money to buy hair and make it look real. She just took her wig off

I love it!!! I love Solange's fresh style and exhuberance in general. She makes good music, has a great voice and should be supported.
