Jermaine Dupri and Janet Jackson Split !
Janet Jackson and her beau Jermaine Dupri have broken up after almost seven years together.
Sources close to the couple claim they'd been drifting apart for a while. Janet supposedly thought their personal and professional lives were too closely connected.
"You shouldn't mix business with pleasure," a pal explains. (Dupri produced several tracks on her last two CDs.) "Janet felt their lives were too crossed and they should have kept things separate."
Janet is reportedly "devastated" by the breakup, but is keeping herself busy by caring for Michael's children.
Jermaine was noticeably absent from Michael Jackson's memorial service, but a pal at that time said Dupri skipped the memorial because he "doesn't attend funerals."
