Cheyenne Cherry Cooks Kitten in Oven, Gets 1 Year

A heartless 17 year-old teenage girl, Cheyenne Cherry was charged with animal cruelty after stuffing a helpless kitten, Tiger Lily, into a 500-degree oven in May.


Sadly, the teen showed no sign of remorse. After being sentenced, she taunted a group of animal rights activist who where outside the courthouse. "It's dead, bitch!" she snapped.
 

After her arrest, an unrepentant Cheyenne Cherry told police the cat killing was "just a joke."


She was charged after she and a 14-year old friend trashed the apartment of her former roommate (rumored to be her ex lesbian lover) Valerie Hernandez. They put the kitten inside the blistering oven and fled the apartment because "they didn't want to hear the dying cat's cries or desperate scratching at the oven door."


The younger girl faces trial in Family Court because of her age. Cherry will serve one year in jail and can't keep a pet for three years. 
 

Is that long enough? Do you think, she should be banned from ever owning a pet ?

1 year was not long enough and I pray to God they monitor her and do not let her have pets I get sick when I think about what she did to that poor animal it is awful--
