Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson Call It Quits

Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo have broken up, according to reports. Sources close to the couple said the Dallas Cowboys QB dumped the singer the night before her 29th birthday.


Jessica was supposed to celebrate with a Ken and Barbie-themed party but called off the festivities when Tony ended things with the her on Thursday night.


Poor Jess!!!


She wrote on her Twitter page Sunday, "Everyone needs to know that hope floats ... grab the strings and pull it back to you."


Three hours later, she wrote, "Falling asleep with my mom and the dogs. Please lord give all of my beautiful fans, friends, enemies, and family rest. Bring all of us peace."


Meanwhile Tony was spotted at Hollywood hotspot MyHouse on Friday (Jessica's b'day night) with a large group of friends. A source says, "He had quite a few girls stop by his dance floor table. Romo was sipping Grey Goose and having a fun time with the boys."
