Laura Posada - Jorge Posada's wife on True Hollywood Story: Baseball Wives
Yankees catcher Jorge Posada's wife Laura Posada will make her reality TV debut on "Baseball Wives: The E! True Hollywood Story", scheduled to air tonight on the E! network.
"In the beginning, I was a little apprehensive. I wasn't sure if it's something I should do or not," says Posada on being on the show. "But then (the E! producers) explained what they were trying to do, which is really show what it is, for real, to be a baseball wife."
"just because you’re married to a baseball player, that you’re dumb, that you’re a gold digger, that you’re an ex-stripper," explains Laura.
Laura, a law-school graduate and a former model married Jorge in 1999 in a civil ceremony and again a year later in Puerto Rico in a bigger ceremony. They have two kids - Jorge Jr., 9, and 6-year-old Paulina.
