Katherine Jackson Petitions for Custody of Michael's Children

According to TMZ, Michael Jackson's mother Katherine Jackson filed a petition Monday asking the court to appoint her as guardian of the late superstar's three children - 12-year-old Michael Jackson Jr., 11-year-old Paris-Michael Jackson and 7-year-old Prince Michael Jackson II, also known as Blanket. The petition states the kids have "no relationship with their biological mother," and they have a "long established relationship" with Katherine, their grandmother.


Debbie Rowe, is the biological mother of Jackson's older two children, Michael Jackson, Jr. and Paris Jackson.
 

The biological mother of his youngest child, Prince Michael Jackson II is not known.
 

The filings show that Mrs. Jackson is also petitioning to take over the children’s estate. It’s value is listed as “unknown.”
 

A hearing is set for August 3.
