Mark Sanford and Mistress Maria Belen Shapur Emails (PHOTOS)

The Argentinean woman with whom South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford had been having an affair, has been identified as Maria Belen Shapur.

Maria Belen Shapur lives in a 14-story apartment building in Buenos Aires and works for Bunge y Born, an agribusiness and grain trading corporation. She is 43-years-old, a mother of two sons , one a teenager of driving age and the other younger, reports the State newspaper.

The newspaper has also published a series of emails between Sanford and his mistress. Here is an excerpt of a very sensual e-mail from Mark Sanford to Maria:

You have a particular grace and calm that I adore. You have a level of sophistication that is so fitting with your beauty. I could digress and say that you have the ability to give magnificently gentle kisses, or that I love your tan lines or that I love the curves of your hips, the erotic beauty of you holding yourself (or two magnificent parts of yourself) in the faded glow of night’s light — but hey, that would be going into the sexual details …

Meanwhile, Sanford and Jenny (pictured above), his wife of 20 years, reportedly separated two weeks ago. Jenny is a former Wall Street executive and has helped Sanford manage his campaigns. Jenny's family owns Skil Corp. of Chicago, which makes electric power tools.
