Mike Tyson’s Daughter Exodus on Life Support

On : 2009 May 26

Mike Tyson's 4-year-old daughter Exodus is on life support after accidentally hanging herself from a treadmill cord at the boxer's home Monday morning.

Phoenix police told FOX News, "Somehow she was playing on this treadmill, and there's a cord that hangs under the console - it's kind of a loop. Either she slipped or put her head in the loop, but it acted like a noose, and she was obviously unable to get herself off of it."

The little girl was found by her older brother, who alerted their mom. The girl’s mother removed the cord from her neck, called 911. Responding officers performed CPR and rushed her to St. Joseph’s Hospital where she remains on life support. Her condition is described as "extremely critical."

Mike was in Las Vegas at the time of the accident but has returned home.

Our thoughts are with little Exodus and the family. We're hoping for a speedy recovery!
