Miley Cyrus to Star in Footloose Remake?
After months of buzz, Chace Crawford has officially joined the cast of 'Footloose.' Crawford, 23, will play the lead role of small town bad boy Ren McCormack - portrayed in the original by Kevin Bacon.
The role of Crawford's love interest - Ariel Moore has yet to be cast.
While several young stars are being considered, rumor has it that Miley Cyrus could be joining the 'Gossip Girl' hunk in the much-anticipated remake of the 1980s hit.
A source close to Cyrus told press, “They’ve (producers) expressed interest in Miley for the part.” And an insider at the studio has confirmed that Cyrus “is definitely in the mix.”
Other stars who have auditioned recently for the role include Hayden Panettiere, Amanda Bynes and Dancing With the Stars pro dancer Julianne Hough.
Footloose begins shooting in March 2010.

i love miley, i know no one is perfect, but by how we act or do tells A LOT about ourselves. Just because someone is a hollywood star doesnt mean they have to do everything the producers say. wheres our faith and values we grew up with then?
