Shawn Johnson Mark Ballas Winners of Dancing with the Stars 2009

Shawn Johnson and partner Mark Ballas were named the "Dancing With the Stars" champ, Tuesday during the season finale of the hit ABC show.

"This has been the best experience ever," the 17-year-old Olympic gymnast aid after her victory. "I've grown so much."

The three finalists, Gilles Marini,Melissa Rycroft and Shawn performed one last dance, each earning a perfect score of 30 from the judges. Viewer votes are combined with judges' scores to determine the "Dancing" winner.

Gilles Marini & Cheryl Burke took second place, and Melissa Rycroft & Tony Dovolani placed third.


The finale also featured a performance by Lady Gaga.
