Adam Lambert vs Kris Allen American Idol Final May 19

Tonight on American Idol, the two finalist Adam Lambert and Kris Allen are facing off for the title at Nokia Theater.
 

The show begins with video clips of Adam and Kris’s idol journey and interviews with their parents.


The contestants will perform 3 songs - their favorite performance from the season, the second song is selected by the show’s producer Simon Fuller and the final song is the winner's single -co-writted by Kara DioGuardi.
 

Adam Lambert kicked off the night with "Mad World" - the song that earned him a standing ovation from Simon. Beautiful performance! He looked great as he walked down the stairs in a black trench coat.

The crowd goes wild. Randy says, “I love that you’re showing your sensitive side…I’m going to give you an A +.”
 

Kara says, "you rocked it again tonight." Paula calls him "astonishingly handsome." Simon says the first time was his best performance, "it was a little bit over-theatrical, it reminded me a little of Phantom of the Opera," he said.


Carrie Underwood will also be singing “Home Sweet Home” on tonight’s show.
 

Kris Allen sings "Ain't No Sunshine" - with charm and sweetness. Pretty good. Randy says it was Kris's best performances of the season. Simon says, "When your name was announced last week, I wasn't sure that America had made the right choice, I absolutely take all that back now after that performance. "Paula and Kara loved it too.

Hollywood and American Idol we at the Reno Center want to see Kris Allen's Uncle Trey Noran whom is a pastor and well known singer his self. I hear he is from Reno and my high school. E entertainment gives us a picture? Where is his homeless hotel in denver, Colorado.
