Mary Louise Parker Regrets Bathtub Scene on Weeds

Actress Mary-Louise Parker regrets doing a nude bathtub scene for the last season’s finale of the Showtime Original Series Weeds. In an interview with the June issue of More Magazine, the 44-year-old actress claims that she was “goaded” into filming the topless scene.
 

“I didn’t think I needed to be naked.  I fought with the director about it, and now I am bitter.  I knew it was going to be on the Internet: ‘Mary Louise shows off her big nipples.’ I wish I hadn’t done that. I was goaded into it,” Parker says.
 

Thanks to her interview, her "big nipples" are now everywhere on the internet.
 

The show’s co-executive producer, however, defends the scene, saying,
 

“We felt at that point in her life, defenses had been so thoroughly stripped away.  There was a nonchalance to the nudity that informed the scene… I thought it was wonderful, one of the five best scenes Mary-Louise has ever done [on Weeds].”
