Shawn Johnson, Mark Ballas Dancing with the Stars May 18

Shawn Johnson and partner Mark Ballas wowed judges with their freestyle dance on the Dancing with the Stars finals, scoring a perfect 30! Here's the video, in case you missed it.

The three finalist, Shawn Johnson, Melissa Rycroft and Gilles Marini kicked off the eighth-season final with a paso doble face-off. Shawn and Mark score 28; Melissa and Tony get a score of 29; Gilles and Cheryl get a perfect 30. Round two featured the freestyles.


The stars will dance one more time for the judges on tomorrow's finale and the winner will be announced.

Shawn and Mark were great tonight.  They have been great all season. They should win this competition,but judges appear to favor another couple. All my family and friends have been voting for Shawn and Mark. However, many of us were unable to get through to vote for them on this most important night.  Your phone system should be upgraded so that everyone gets to vote. It's not fair to the contestants for us to not be able to vote.  Shawn and Mark you are winners regardless of how the voting turns out.
