On 'contestants’ choice' round Danny Gokey sang "You Are So Beautiful" by Joe Cocker on "American Idol" May 12.
 

Great choice of song. The audience seemed to enjoy his performance.
 

Randy says you can "really, really, really sing; mad vocals." Kara calls it "stunning," Paula said he "did magic to it," and said "you left all of us breathless." Simon didn't like the rearranging, but calls it a "vocal master class."
