Adam Lambert delivered another standout performance tonight on American Idol, May 12. Lambert sang U2's "One," picked by Simon Cowell.


Randy says he "went off melody". Kara says "you're an "amazing strategist, you did your own version". Paula calls it "a brilliant choice of song and superb performance." Simon says "It was a brilliant, brilliant performance."


Tonight on "American Idol" the final three are singing a song chosen by the judges as well as a song of their own choice.

Paula, selected Terence Trent D'Arby's "Dance Little Sister" for Danny, and Simon picked either U2's "One" or Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game" for Adam. Randy and Kara picked One Republic's "Apologize." for Kris Allen.
