Kate Gosselin Today Show Video

Star of Jon & Kate Plus 8 Kate Gosselin sat down with Meredith Vieira on the Today show to talk about the recent tabloid reports that her husband Jon Gosselin cheated on her with 23-year-old third grade teacher Deanna Hummel.
 

Earlier in the week, US Weekly released photos and a video footage of Jon slipping out of his alleged mistress' home at 7:30 a.m. But the mother of eight told Meredith that she is "very hesitant to believe any of it."
 

“We just need to weather this storm, just like all the other storms that we’ve been through,” she said on the "Today" show. "It goes with the territory. We’re dealing with it privately. There are those things we keep to ourselves, and we’re working through it together," she added. 
 

Kate says she's worried about how it will affect her eight young kids.
 

"I'm not going to sit here and say I enjoy it. I tend to be very thick-skinned," she said. "It's hurtful for the sake of my children looking through their eyes seeing the things that are out there is absolutely not a bit enjoyable."
 

Hubby Jon Gosselin, 32, also denied rumors that he's cheating on Kate. "These allegations are false and just plain hurtful," Jon said in a statement to People magazine on Wednesday. "The bottom line is, I did not cheat on Kate.  I am working through this difficult time with my family. My family is my top priority," he added.
 

The brother of Deanna Hummel came forward yesterday and said the two were in fact having an elicit affair.
 

"No one wants to hear his sister having sex, let alone with a married dude who's, like, almost twice her age and who has eight kids and a maybe-crazy wife," Deanna's brother, Jason, told Usmagazine.com.
 

Deanna responded saying her brother is "making this all up."
 

“My brother is very shady. He has no job. He has a criminal background. He was charged for drug distribution. He’s on probation right now," she added.
