Paula Abdul “I’m Just Here for the Music” American Idol May 6

On : 2009 May 06

Now that she's off the pills, Paula Abdul performed her single "I'm Just Here for the Music" on American Idol results show, May 6. Though she lip-synched her song, I thought she was pretty good. She can definitely dance. “Here For The Music” is the first single off Paula’s comeback dance album to come out this fall.

Allison Iraheta was eliminated tonight leaving Kris Allen, Danny Gokey and frontrunner Adam Lambert to battle for the title.

everybody seems to be shocked by Paula Abdul' lip-synching, Can anyone show me an artist who doesn't lip-synch nowadays, especially when they have to dance to the song just as Paula did? Could anyone perform a perfect vocal while dancing? All in all, I personally think it's utterly respectable for Paula to lip-synch considering all the jumping and running she was doing during the song. Even so, she can still dance and she'll prove her vocal skills soon too.

I loved Paula's performance why is everyone so surprised at the fact that she may have been lip singing, she also could have been singing to a recorded track like they do at the superbowl.  She proved that she still has talent she can still at 46 dance her butt off. People keep saying how could she go on american idol and do this, but are you guys forgetting that the idol contestants have lip-synched almost all the songs on the results show give credit where credit is do the lady was and still is a graet performer alot of the things people praise other artist for would not have been possible without Paula's groundbreaking dance moves and videos.  And as for where were the other judges during her peformance they were also not ther for No Doubt in other words i liked it GREAT!!!! job Paula abdul keep on doing what you do
