Miss California Carrie Prejean in Nude Photo Scandal

Same-sex marriage critic Carrie Prejean's Christian believes have come under attack after topless and semi-nude photos of the Miss California found their way onto the internet.

The photos feature the 21-year-old wearing only a pair of pink panties and using a strategically placed arm. See the photos here. Carrie fired back claiming the picture is an attempt to "mock" her faith. She has issued the following statement

"I am a Christian, and I am a model. Models pose for pictures, including lingerie and swimwear photos. Recently photos taken of me as a teenager have been released surreptitiously to a tabloid Web site that openly mocks me for my Christian faith. I am not perfect, and I will never claim to be. But these attacks on me and others who speak in defense of traditional marriage are intolerant and offensive. While we may not agree on every issue, we should show respect for others' opinions and not try to silence them through vicious and mean-spirited attacks."

According to Alicia Jacobs, an entertainment reporter at KVBC in Las Vegas, there are six scantily-clad shots of Prejean - some are much more revealing. She thinks they may have been taken after Prejean's breast implant surgery about six weeks ago.

Prejean became a front page news in mid-April when she took a stance against gay marriage during the Miss USA pageant. She came under fire last week after Miss California USA officials confirmed they paid for Prejean to have breast implants. Days later, Prejean announced she would star in an anti-gay marriage ad to 'protect' traditional marriage.
