Ida Ljungqvist 50th Playboy Playmate of the Year 2009

Ida Ljungqvist

African-born brunette beauty Ida Ljungqvist was named Playboy Playmate of the Year 2009 at The Palms Resort & Casino in Las Vegas Saturday night.
 

 The 27-year-old appeared on the cover of the March 2008 issue of the Playboy magazine and was later crowned as their 2009 Playmate of the Year.
 

Ljungqvist is the 50th woman to hold the Playmate of the Year title. Along with the title, she also received $100,000 and a new Mazda6 car.
 

 Former Playmates Brande Roderick, Jayde Nicole and Holly Madison were also present at the ceremony.
 

Ljungqvist was born in Tanzania to a Swedish father and a Tanzanian mother. In December 2007 Ljungqvist married Joshua Lang. Lang filed for divorce in September 2008. The two are reportedly involved in a bitter a custody battle over their pet chihuahua Bonnie.
