Pregnant Kelis Files For Divorce From Nas
R&B star Kelis has filed for divorce from her husband, hip-hop star Nas, a rep for the singer told E! News.
The pregnant singer reportedly filed for divorce on Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences.
"I can confirm that she has filed for divorce," said a rep for Kelis, whose full name is Kelis Rogers-Jones. "We request the media to respect her privacy during this very difficult time."
She is asking for spousal and child support, as well as joint custody of their unborn baby.
Kelis and Nas married in 2005, in Atlanta. The couple is expecting their first child together, a son, this summer.
