Lindsay Lohan on Ellen DeGeneres Show (Video)

Lindsay Lohan appears on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today to talk about her much-publicized breakup with Samantha Ronson.
 

The 22-year-old actress tells the talk show host that the split "came out of nowhere."
 

"I had no idea what was going on. I just hadn't seen her in, like, a week. She, like, disappeared," Lohan says.
 

Lohan also denied infidelity was the cause of their breakup saying,  “I don’t believe in cheating on someone."
 

Looking on the bright side, Lindsay feels that being away from Ronson may be best for her and her career.
 

"I feel like I want to get my career back in shape," she said, adding that not dating anybody regularly right now – may be a positive step.

"You know when people are together so much it gets really difficult and you forget who you are because you're more concerned about being with the other person," said Lohan. "I think it's been really good for me. I thought it would be so much harder and it hasn't been. My sister's been here with me."
 

But Lindsay still holds hope that she and Sam can work things out.
 

"I really care about Samantha and we'll see what happens," she said. "Maybe when we're fully in the right place. And I love her."
