Megan McAllister - Fiancee of Accused 'Craigslist Killer' Philip Markoff

Megan McAllister, the fiancee of the accused "Craigslist Killer" Philip Markoff insists her future husband "could not hurt a fly." He is "a beautiful person inside and out" - Megan wrote in an e-mail to ABC's "Good Morning America.
 

22 year-old medical student Markoff, was arrested for the slaying of Julissa Brisman - a 26-year-old masseuse at a luxury hotel. He is also charged with kidnapping and robbery of a second woman. Brisman  and the other alleged victims advertised their services on Craigslist.

Police said evidence from computer forensic experts and "old-fashioned shoe leather" linked Markoff to the two crimes. Markoff was seen on video surveillance using a hand-held texting device at several of the hotels, according to police. A search of Markoff's house turned up guns and plastic ties, and police say the motive may have been to pay off gambling debts.
 

Markoff is also under investigation for similar assault involving an exotic dancer at a Rhode Island hotel.

But Megan McAllister, a fellow med student believes her finace is innocent. Megan said she and Markoff expect to be married in August "and share a wonderful, meaningful life together." The couple also has a wedding web page at megan-philip.com.
