Portia de Rossi stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show for taping of an episode to air Monday, March 16.
“In a meeting talking about Portia’s appearance on the show Monday I’m told I’ll learn something about her that she’s never told me,” Ellen said.
Portia is making the rounds to promote her new TV show, Better Off Ted, which debuts Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. on ABC.
DeGeneres and de Rossi married in August at their Hollywood Hills home, but their marriage and the status of 18,000 other gay married couples in California are in doubt after a slim majority of Californian residents voted to ban same-sex marriage.
