Kimora Lee and Djimon Hounsou : Married!

Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Hounsou are married! The couple reportedly tied the knot over the summer on a trip to Hounsou’s native Benin, Africa, but the marriage isn't valid in the US since Kimora was still married to Russell Simmons at the time. The divorce was finalized on Jan 28, 2009.
 

“Both Kimora and Djimon wore traditional dashikis,” an insider told the New York Daily News.
 

“She went whole hog with the African theme - there were African drums, a traditional ceremony with dancers . . . they even had a hut!”
 

Her little girls Aoki and Ming were present for the ceremony. “Aoki slept through the entire ceremony, and Ming cried. They were pretty confused as to what was going on,” says the source.


Kimora is currently pregnant with Djimon’s child.
