Michelle Obama Covers O - The Oprah Magazine
Michelle Obama appears on the April 2009 cover of O Magazine with Oprah.
The photo was taken of the two during an intimate White House interview with the First Lady. Michelle was a gracious host, giving Oprah a tour of the grounds and part of the family's private residence.
"It's a beautiful home," Michelle tells Oprah of the White House. "When you go out and come back, especially at night, with all the white lights on – it's just beautiful. We feel privileged, and we feel a responsibility to make it feel like the people's house. We have the good fortune of being able to sleep here, but this house belongs to America."
