Jason Mesnick dumps fiance Melissa, picks Molly

All of the rumors were TRUE! As predicted by mysterious blogger "Reality Steve," The Bachelor Jason Mesnick dumped his fiance Melissa for the woman he earlier rejected - in After The Rose Ceremony Special.
 

At the final rose ceremony, Mesnick rejects a shocked Molly whose parting words were, “I think you’ve made a mistake, a big one.”
 

"The Bachelor" finale ended with Jason Mesnick's proposal to Melissa Rycroft. Fairy tale ending? Not quite.
 

Six weeks later, at the After the Final Rose special, a tearful Mesnick tells Bachelor host Chris Harrison that the “chemistry is completely different” with him and Rycroft and that he couldn’t stop thinking about the other woman — Molly Malaney.
 

So, he decided to break up with Melissa on national TV.
 

"We're not right for each other," Mesnick said to Melissa.
 

"I don't believe you. I thought things were perfect,....I trusted you with everything. He knows what I've been through," an irritated Melissa said. "I'm so mad at you."
 

“You're such a bastard” — she muttered under her breath and stormed off the set.
 

Molly is then brought in.
 

“I ended things with (Melissa) because I haven’t been able to stop thinking about you,” Mesnick said.
 

A stunned Molly sat there with a blank face. Finally, Molly agrees to give him a second chance and "see where things go."


Another "After the Final Rose" special will be airred tonight. We are not sure if Jason and Molly are still together but we can only say, both women deserved better.

Most ridiculous "Bachelor" ever. Right now, I am so mad at myself for wasting two hours every Monday watching it.

What Mesnick did was disgusting. It's  totally irresponsible. How can he tell his fiance that he can't stop thinkng about another woman. Just six weeks after proposing her!!!

Secondly, why ABC airred such an awful break-up. Melissa didn’t deserve this insult in public.

Molly is a dumb ass for taking him back.

Molly looks pretty desperate to take the scumbag back. It wouldn't be surprising if stupid ass Jason dumps her too after a few more bikini massage because he can't stop thinking about Jillian (and the hot tub romp with her.)

This show has reached a new low.

Jason is too immature to get married. He acts like a teenager - very confused.

Maybe, ABC should have an interview with his ex wife. She is a better person to tell about him. This should be done ASAP - before Molly decides to ruin her life and get married.

I am glad that Melissa's parents decided not to appear on the show.

JASON DUMPS MOLLY AFTER A FEW DATES . TAKES THE RING BACK. GOES TO NAOMI'S HOUSE. PROPOSES THE DEAD DOVE THAT HE BURRIED THERE. AND THEY SAID 'I DO'S AND LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER.

honestly, I do not know how a guy can propose to a girl and break up with her in 6 weeks and start making out with another girl the same day as ending a PROPOSAL!!! seriously i thought Jason was a nice guy.... i was wrong he is not! melissa you are way better than him and wow molly you look just as bad as jason smiling and laughing kissing him after he just dumped a girl on TV

I don't think I'll ever watch The Batchelor again.  This was disgusting.  I hope ABC realizes they made a huge mistake by airing this type ending to the show.  It is not what people wanted to see.  It made me sick to my stomach.  I think Jason is a BIG pussy.  I use to like him, but not anymore.

I believe that you all are ridiculous.  Jason was not in love with Melissa.  He needed to follow his heart.  Things like this happen everyday, but he was the man it was shown on national television.

Wow- Jason did the right thing.  What marry someone who you don't love, and divorce 1-2 years down the road cause YOU don't approve of how he did it.  What about the loser guys out there that do this all day long.  get real.  I say You Go Jason.  follow your heart.  lifes to short. Remember we don't know everything that transpired after the proposal.  Did anyone ever determine Melissa had a family at all?  Her friends admitted they didn't know her family.  pretty suspicous if you ask me.

Jason is a spoiled cry baby.....that's all I have to say about that.   He got what he wanted from Melissa, and then wondered what he was missing from Molly.   Molly won't be happy with a man that can't make up his mind and will tire of her down the road, just as he did Melissa.

Although I feel sorry for Melissa, Jason shouldn't be forced into marrying someone he doesn't actually love. you all say it is disgusting, but things like this happen all over the world. This one just seems so bad because you could all see it! I hope he and Molly make each other happy (:
