Bachelor Jason Dishes on Melissa and Molly

The season finale of The Bachelor airs tonight, March 2 with Jason Mesnick finally making the big decision.
 

After the departure of Jillian last two weeks, it’s down to Melissa Rycroft and Molly Malaney. Before his choice is revealed, the single dad from Seattle sat down with PEOPLE.com to talk about the final two women, Melissa and Molly and the return of DeAnna. Check out the interview.

What do you see in the remaining two women?
Melissa is really that ultimate woman that is going to stand by your side forever. She’s fun. She’s beautiful and exciting and willing to try new things. Molly is the balance of a lot of different things. We have a great friendship going. There’s passion there. She’s got her eyes wide open to the world. They are both amazing — to use my favorite word — which made for a very, very tough decision.

Speaking of DeAnna, why does she appear in the finale?
Well I can’t tell you that, of course. Fans will have to wait and see. I was really surprised when she showed up in New Zealand. It would have been one thing if I was hanging out in Atlanta, but she had to go across an ocean to get to me. I had just heard a couple of weeks before that she and Jesse had broken up and that surprised me.

Have you found The One?
I have found the one. I am in love, without a doubt. I do see her as the one I want to marry and spend the rest of my life with. Everyone has been through ups and down in their life, and there are no guarantees when talking about love. I am living proof. I got married before and thought I’d be with her until death do us part, but we all know how that worked out. That said, I am very much in love and very hopeful.

at least when jesse and deanna broke up it was a surprise. at least i hope it was. if all this leakage is true, i will not trust the show again. i want the real engagement. do not air what to me would be a repeat if we already know and they still air the first melissa engagement. if they broke up its not in real time. wish it would be a real surprise.

I have been a fan of Jason's ever since he stepped out of the limo to meet DeAnna....I loved his story & felt he was honest & genuine....I picked him to be the "last man standing"....when she picked Jesse.....I hoped Jason would be the next bachelor,,,& to my surprise, he was.... I picked Melissa & Jillian for Jason....(but I was really pulling for Melissa!!!) I was sooo excited when he did choose her...they seemed happy & it looked real....UNTIL I watched " after the final rose " Jason's tears do not affect me anymore...he could cry himself a river & I'd let him dround in it!! That was a bunch of crap that he said to Melissa....And don't think for one min. that he & Molly haven't had any contact,,,,....I will not watch that show anymore.Tonight seemed to be more about getting t.v. ratings, instead of having a love store blossom......Obviously he did Melissa a favor & backed out .....but why did he have to do it on t.v.?.........EXACTLY....HE DID IT ALL FOR THE RATINGS.....

I watched the ending of the rose too and felt soooo happy he picked melissa and then for him to drop her was the Worst thing he could ever do. I've decieded to never watch that show again. And for jason he can keep on turning on those tears all he wants because he such a jerk. And molly is so stupid. And for jason family to have been so concerned for the brother to get hurt what about the girls???????? Its all over Jason your the LOSER.

I am also soooooo dissapointed. I loved Jason. What a jerk. He could have at least did this in private. But oh no he had to get more air time. The guy is a sleeze bag. I wanted him to pick Melissa, she seems so real. Molly seems fake. I hope she hurts him 10 times more then he hurt Mel. I sure hope Melissa finds someone worthy. I will never ever watch the bachelor again. I guess much to my surprise Jason is the one who is fake. I hope he rots away lonely. I hope Ty has a great mom to take good care of him, and teach him good morals. He too deserves more then Jason. I don't see how he could cry one second, then turn off those babies and be smiling and kissing Molly. Yuck I am truly upset feel like I could just throw up. Molly can't you see what a fool he made of both of you?

I DO THINK JASON IS GENUINE AND WE SHOULD REMEMBER JUDGE NOT UNLESS YE BE JUDGED. I WISH HE COULD HAVE BROKEN IT OFF IN PRIVATE BUT MAYBE IT HAD TO BE DONE THIS WAY. WHO ARE WE TO JUDGE> I THINK HE SHOULD TAKE SOME TIME TO SIT DOWN AND  GET IN TOUCH WITH REALITY AND IF IT TRULY IS MOLLY WE MUST ACCEPT HIS DECISION WITHOUT JUDGEMENT

JASON DESERVES TO BE ALONE. HE IS SUCH A BAD ROLE MODLE FOR TY. YOU CAN NOT HAVE A LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP FOR 6 WEEKS AND CHANGE YOUR MIND ON LOVE. I HOPE MOLLY GIVES HIM 6 WEEKS AND THEN DUMPS HIM SHE IS SO STUPID FOR GIVING HIM ANOTHER CHANCE. MAYBE AT THIS POINT IN HER LIFE SHE IS DESPERATE. TY DID NOT CONNECT WITH MOLLY. HE HAD AN INSTANT CONNECTION WITH MELISSA. MELISSA HAS THE BEST PERSONALITY AND LOOKS. I HOPE JASON GROWS OLD ALONE. MELISSA IS BETTER OFF WITHOUT HIM SHE DESERVES A MANLY MAN NOT A WHINNY CRY BABY PUSS. BACHELOR HAS UPSET ALOT OF PEOPLE AND WE WANT WATCH THE SHOW AGAIN. Honestly, it was pretty wack how Jason dissed Melissa on Live TV, even though I didn't want her to win. No Woman should have to go through that. But it was better for him to do it now than to wait years down the line and resent sending Molly home. Melissa was a little kid and was not ready to be a mom nor a wife, so I'm glad he sent her packing. Molly seems like a great girl with her head on straight. Way more ambitious and actually has something going for herself. Melissa was just looking for a quick way to get rich.
