For those of you who don't think Adam is gay? Are you delusional? I am seriously? 1st of all, there is already footage of him on cam (in a gay bar) where he clearly states he's gay. Not to mention page after page of pictures with him kissing other MEN and in DRAG! And for those of you who think it is some kind of scandal (because he is gay), no! The Scandal is not that Adam IS gay, its that Adam is gay and (for the same reasons that Clay Akin didn't admit his homosexuality until years after his Season with American Idol), the "scandal" is he's gay and like Akin won't publicly admit it...BECAUSE OF THE VOTES! I love American Idol. I can't deny Adam Lambert is talented, if you like his style, which I don't.  He does a lot of over-the-top dramatics and screaming.  Is he gay?  Hell yeah!  I think it is personally disgusting, but then again, I wouldn't hold it against him, has nothing to do with whether he can sing or not.
What happened to good old fashioned talent, songs you could understand?  I think awards are given out too easily, there is too much so called "talent" out there that really sucks, and I like many different kinds of music from classical, country, rock and roll and many others, but some of the stuff out there is ridiculous.  Fortunately, that's why we have choices, thank the Lord!
Getting back to American Idol...it doesn't really matter whether he wins or not, if any of them are talented enough they will have contracts.  Will they stand the test of time?  Maybe, maybe not.  You don't have to win to be big.   Clay Aiken came in second. His career is much bigger than Rueben's.  and look and Kelly Pickler, she's doing moderately well, and if with the persona of the "dumb blonde" she has can do okay, why not a homosexual?  Does being gay affect the voting?  I think so.  Look at Anton, the cutie that was a junior high art teacher, sounded a bit like Stevie Wonder.  He danced one week, and we not longer had doubts to sexuality, LOL, and he was voted off that same week!

Okay, DaytonaDrew, Maybe some people like to think that he is not gay? Maybe he has changed. I watched the AmIdol finale tonight, and Allison and Adam looked like they were having a great time together. Flirting is what it looked like. To me what does it matter in these times if a man or a woman is "gay" or "straight" ... sexuality is born into you it is who you are and helps define you as a person...  studies have proven every human has "gay" tendancies ( did i say that outloud...OMG) even though we may not act on them.. SO here is my Statement.. Leave off on the mans sexuality and looks, sit back and listen to that awesome voice and range enjoy his music and talent his has deemed fit to share with us, i think he will be a great and shining star even if he didnt "win" idol... he is still a winner because he seems to LIVE and live with no regrets how many of us can say that...  in closing "best Luck and much love Adam" you deserve it

I am a grandmother of 4. And where I am watching from I think Adam Lambert is an extremely talented young man. I told care what he does in his private life. That is his business. The young man is very entertaining. I enjoyed watching his performances on AI. He should have won. Kris was good but Adam was great. I would gladly take my grandchildren to see Adam in concert. Shoot for the stars Adam..you'll make it. Some people go through life wondering what they are placed on this earth to do. You, young man, know what you are here for. God bless.

American Idol is a talent contest for best singer/entertainer.  How America got this wrong I will never know. Adam Lambert is the best singer that I have ever seen on that show (even better than the great Carrie Underwood).  If the voting was fair, then America didn't like his flamboyant attire.  There is simply no other explanation.  I may not watch the show again.  Adam will be around for years, though.  He is a star.

Wow people, just so you know, he is gay and he has a very cute boyfriend. But really, why should it matter if he is gay, straight, or bisexual? American Idol is about talent, not sexual preference. Adam Lambert is a talented man with a beautiful voice. If you have problems accepting his decision to date the same gender don't be mean about it.
