“American Idol” hopeful Nick Mitchell aka Norman Gentle couldn't impress the judges with his singing but his over-the-top performance left them laughing and nearly speechless Wednesday.
 

Nick unleashed his alter-ego Norman Gentle for a captivating performance of "And I am Telling You I'm Not Going," - the song that won Jennifer Hudson an Academy Award.
 

"There's no way I'm living without this show!" he cried, pawing the show's logo.
 

Randy Jackson said, "Definitely one of the most entertaining performances ever." There’s no denying but will he make it to the top 12?
