Michelle Obama takes the cover of March 2009 issue of  Vogue magazine. The First Lady, photographed by Annie Leibovitz, dons a magenta dress for the Vogue cover. The dress is by Jason Wu, the man who designed her inaugural ball gown.
 

"I love clothes," Michelle tells Vogue's Andre Leon Talley. "First and foremost, I wear what I love. That's what women have to focus on: what makes them happy and what makes them feel comfortable and beautiful. If I can have any impact, I want women to feel good about themselves and have fun with fashion."
 

Mrs Obama is the second First Lady after Hillary Clinton to appear on the cover of Vogue. The mag arrives on newsstands on Feb. 17.
