Jessica Simpson Grand Rapids Meltdown (Video)

Jessica Simpson had a near meltdown last night during her concert in Grand Rapids.

There are reports from people in the crowd that the singer was on the verge of a breakdown. During her 38-minute opening set for Rascal Flatts, the 28-year-old singer struggled with her ear monitors, seemed to have lost her place in several of her songs, forgot the lyrics to her single "Come on Over," stopped in the middle of a song and left the stage to get a sip of water.

So what caused Jessica's meltdown? According to Perez, it all started when her boyfriend - Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo - didn't show up for her gig after supposedly missing his flight.

Lately Jess has been getting a lot of heat about her recent weight gain and then there were rumors that her boyfriend Tony Romo had reportedly cheated on her in her own house while she was out of town.

And last night, things were so bad, while introducing her closing song "Do You Know," she talked about how she felt like walking off the stage. At the end of the song, she thanked her band for "having her back." And it looked as if she was wiping away tears as she walked off the stage.

I know she wants to be in the limelight and all but really, she should take a break and evaluate things. Take a good look inside and figure some stuff out.

Maybe you should take a good look inside yourself and figure some things out. Do you think she asked for all this negative publicity? No. And for the record, I was there and I thought she did great. Grow up.

I think she needs to look back at the negative things she has said about other people, like Carrie Underwood for instance, she has good as called her a liar regarding Tony Romo at the radio interview. If she believes he can't delete numbers off his phone Jessica needs to get real. I think it was Tony not being at the concert that caused her meltdown - I guess she really can't trust her man. But you know what they say - what goes around comes around
