Jennifer Hudson Super Bowl 2009 Performance

Jennifer Hudson performed the National Anthem, “The Star Spangled Banner,” prior to the start of Super Bowl XLIII at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on Sunday.
 

It was the Oscar-winning singer’s first public performance return to the public spotlight since the murder of her mother, brother and nephew in October.
 

Looking absolutely gorgeous in a white top, cropped jacket and leggings with gold jewelry, the 27-year-old “American Idol” made a triumphant return singing the National Anthem. Watch Jennifer’s Super Bowl performance.
