George - Obama's Half Brother Arrested

George Hussein Onyango Obama, the half-brother of President Barack Obama, was arrested in Nairobi for possession of illegal drugs.
 

The 24-year-old, who denies the allegation, is scheduled to appear in court Monday.

 "They took me from my home," he said, "I don't know why they are charging me.". [Telegraph] 
 

George and the president barely know each other, though they have met before.  The two men share the same Kenyan father.  In his memoir, "Dreams from My Father," Barack Obama describes meeting George as a "painful affair."
 

George was in the headlines last year after it was revealed that he was living in poverty on less than a dollar a day.
