Kelly Clarkson got a big payday when she won the first season of American Idol and I am sure this year will be no different. After last night’s premiere of Season 8, it’s looking like another season of music, fun and insults from Simon Cowell. No doubt the longtime judges -- Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson – will never need payday loans either. Have you ever wondered what their salaries are? I wonder if they make more than Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson or any of the other winners. A new judge is joining the panel this year, songwriter Kara DioGuardi. With an even number of judges, I wonder what happens if there is a tie regarding a winner or a loser.
