Tom Cruise on The View : Jett Travolta Death "Horrific"

Tom Cruise spoke out about the shocking death of John Travolta and Kelly Preston’s 16-year-old son Jett, during a taping of The View Thursday morning.
 

"It's just horrific," a visibly shaken Cruise said, "Here you have a man, both of them doting parents, they’re wonderful people.."
 

"I remember Jett when he was born. I saw him when he was just a few months old and John just adored him, and both of his children, and Kelly. I just don't have the words for it," Cruise added.
 

The 46-year-old actor also addressed Scientology's Role in the tragedy, saying his religion does not prohibit people from seeing a doctor and getting proper medication.
 

Cruise's appearance on the ABC daytime talk show is scheduled to air Friday.
