Todd Homme from Blush Found Dead

Todd Homme

We're sad to report that Todd Homme, a contestant of the Lifetime's Blush: The Search for the Next Great Makeup Artist was found dead at his New York home. He was 23.
 

Homme was found by his partner Neal Krogh, on Saturday night. Medical examiners couldn't confirm the cause of death of the seemingly healthy Homme.
 

"He went to sleep basically and never woke up," Homme's mother Marianne Amster told TV Guide, "He was all excited about what was going on with the show. He was up all night, went to sleep during the day and he died in his sleep. I went to the medical examiner early today, and they took tissue samples from his organs and the doctor said they couldn't find anything wrong with him. No drugs, alcohol or pills."
 

The services will be held Wednesday with the burial scheduled the following day at noon. The finale of Lifetime's reality show is scheduled to air today.

I was so sad and shocked to read this at the end of the last "Blush" episode.  So full of life and hope one minute......we all need to remember that none of us immortal......farewell Todd......hope your at peace.....xoxo

I was very saddened to learn last night about the death of Todd Homme.  He was one of my favorite make-up artists on "Blush".  My condolences to his partner and all of his family.

My condolences to Todd's partner, friends, and family. He was such a bright spot on "Blush" as I'm sure he was in real life. The fashion industry lost a great talent and the world lost a great human being.

It's really sad. My prayers and thoughts are with his family and friends. It just shows you, you never really know when your time is up. It's kind of scary because I'm hearing more and more stories of young people dying in their sleep.

Todd was a great guy, I went to highschool with him and I just found out about what happened today. It saddens me to not be able to say goodbye to him. I will always have the memories of us hanging out back home and the days where he never failed to make me laugh or have a good time. I knew he would make it far and he did.
