O.J. Simpson Gets 15 years in Prison
OJ Simpson was sentenced to at least 15 years in prison today in the state of Nevada. He'll be eligible for parole in 9 years.
District Judge Jackie Glass described Simpson as being "arrogant and ignorant." Simpson was convicted in October on 10 felony counts (including armed robbery, kidnapping, burglary, conspiracy and assault) for a September 13, 2007 incident where he tried to recover his sports memorabilia.
Simpson said "I realize I was stupid. I'm sorry" and insisted he was merely trying to recover property that had been stolen from his family.
