Jennifer Garner Gets Restraining Order Against Stalker Steven Burky
Jennifer Garner has obtained a temporary restraining order against Steven Burky, who she claims has been stalking and harassing her since 2002.
The order read: "Mr. Burky has been stalking and harassing me," sending "packages and letters containing delusional and paranoid thoughts and following me around the country... his obsessive and harassing behavior has escalated to the point of becoming dangerous and threatening... I am currently pregnant and fear for the safety of my second child once born."
The stalker, Mr. Burky, allegedly showed up at her home, saying, "God has sent him a vision of her being persecuted in some manner that may result in her death." A member of Garner's security team has also submitted a declaration, adding, "Mr. Burky now represents a clear threat to Ms. Garner's life."
Burky is reportedly under involuntary psychiatric hold following the Los Angeles Police Department's involvement in the case.
