Katt Williams in Hospital for Psychiatric Evaluation

Publicist statement released:

Yesterday, we reported that comedian Katt Williams had been hospitalized to undergo a pyschiatric evaluation. See story here [link not inlcuded]. Williams' publicist just released the following statement to Punchline Magazine.

   Following an arduous 300 shows and an 18-month touring schedule that left him incredibly fatigued, Katt felt compelled to be with his family in an effort to deal with his stress.  While doing so, he is under a doctor's care.

   As this is a private and personal matter, we hope the media will respect his family's request for privacy.

I pray with all my heart that Katt recovers.
I see the passionate in his work.
I adore who he is, from what I've see of his shows.

Sometimes, we go so hard for the sake of not being poor anymore.
And I know he wants more for his children than he had, I understand that well, that's how I am.

Katt, if you read this, you will only grow from this shit, this shit will not last long. I don't know you but I have looked in your eyes, and I've evaluated eyes for 53 years.  And my man, you will prevail, you have no damn choice.  Like I have no stinking choice but to prevail, cause I'm on my ass right now, for the first time in my stinkin' life, my crap is in crazist state, I ever been in.  

My soul will not let me ly down, so please don't ly down on me!  I have never needed to hear or see any entertainer, like I do you.

Katt, recover, you will come back stronger, cause I did.

Miss you, truly adore your style, have never seen any other comedian better than yourself, and I was fortunate to experience many.

Hay, don't you have kids, they will help you out of whatever your in, I know my kids brought me out.  And guess what I don't even really like kids.  But my children has saved my life, let them save yours......

I tell ya what, I'm a nail tech, I love to do pedicures, not hands, just pedicures, so you know I do the shit out of some feet.

 get better katt.... we are all rooting for you. You are human and go through the same trials and tribulations that everyone else. Just because you have money dont change life. But hey katt u can send ya girl some of that good shit in Beech Island,SC.... Im here for you(smile)
